Cristiano Garella has been dedicated to the restoration of Alto Piedmont for the past two decades after endless devastation to the region due to disease & climate. This wine is special because there are two drastically different types of soils in the vineyard that impact the wine. The wine's intensity & structure come from the iron-rich volcanic soil & its alluring elegance comes from the sandy soil.
