This Champagne Rosé has bright notes of red fruit such as cherry and raspberry. It has a very flavorful in finish, underlined by the lively effervescence, and it has a good length on the palate.
Champagne Villepin's objective is to showcase what their vineyards offer each year. The wines are aged on lees, then on fine lees before bottling them to give them volume, greed and complexity. They do not filter their wines so that they keep all their substance and develop a much better aging potential. The champagnes benefit from a minimum aging in bottle of 2 to 3 years and one year of rest after disgorging in their cellars. Since 2018, they have been vinifying part of their wines in barrels or without malolactic fermentation for new vintages to come!
